Inviting Church Ministry

The mission of Unity Spiritual Life Center is to create a joyful atmosphere of love and acceptance, which inspires spiritual growth through the practice of Christ principles.

The purpose of the Inviting Church Ministry is to bring alive the mission of Unity Spiritual Life Center from the very moment a visitor or member enters our church. Ushers and Greeters are a specific part of the Sunday Team and play a special and important role on the Team. They serve for a minimum of three to six months, or a longer term, and may re-commit to serve for many terms if they so desire.

Ushers and Greeters commit:

• To attend required Team meetings
• To serve for a minimum of three to six months
• To honor their agreed upon Sunday schedule or secure a substitute when unable to do so
• To be open to a new way of experiencing Sunday service when serving as part of the Inviting Church Ministry as a Welcome Team member
• To reflect the joy and love that is so abundant to all in our Church, especially to visitors
